In addition to the 860 trees already planted, one of the projects Opago has supported in the Wind Power Project in Mexico. This project aims to support the development of a wind farm in the state of Nuevo León, Mexico.
The wind farm is expected to have a capacity of 148.5 MW and will generate clean energy by harnessing the power of the wind. By supporting this project, we are helping to reduce the use of fossil fuels and the associated carbon emissions.
In addition to reducing carbon emissions, the Wind Power Project in Mexico will also support the local economy by creating jobs and stimulating economic growth in the region. The project will also contribute to Mexico's goal of increasing the share of renewable energy in its overall energy mix.
Also supported by Opago is the project capturing waste biogas in Turkey. This project aims to support the development of a waste-to-energy facility in Turkey that captures biogas from organic waste and converts it into renewable energy.
The waste-to-energy facility will use anaerobic digestion technology to break down organic waste and capture the methane produced during the process. The methane will then be used to generate electricity, which can be sold to the grid or used to power local communities.
